Production Planning Specialist - Agriculture

Details: Supply Chain Specialist- Agriculture JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to partner with Monsanto’s Vegetable Business and their customers by processing seed transactions in SAP and other Monsanto systems efficiently and effectively. A key focus of this role is to help ensure timely harvest and delivery of seeds at the Global Production Areas. Ideal candidate will have one or two years hands on experience in monitoring and managing inventory levels in support of grower production requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Specialist: Order Management Create orders Create deliveries Ensure deliveries are received as ordered Ensure deliveries are received at the proper location Follow up on existing orders Manage Special Orders Forecasting Data Analysis Logistics Other administrative assignments as needed
