Details: Phenix Research Product is recruiting for a Junior Sales Representative in the Houston Area. The Junior Sales Rep, under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, will perform field promotional work to obtain sales in an assigned territory where the company and product line are established. Job Duties: Outbound cold calls to labs and individuals. Report to management on customer relationship, pipelines, forecasts and new prospects. Canvas out prospective new accounts Demonstrate products/services and assists in the selection of products/services most applicable to the customer’s needs. Demonstrates and familiarizes established accounts with new products/services and developments. Quotes prices, terms, delivery dates, etc. on new or repeat orders, subject to the approval of the Regional Sales Manager. Customer prospect profile maintenance. Prepares activity and expense reports PHENIX Research is a 25 year old supplier of consumables, reagents and equipment to the life science research market. Particular focus markets include cryogenic storage, PCR and laboratory automation. The company was founded in the San Francisco Bay area and currently has its headquarters in Asheville, NC.
