View Req Details Job Description: General Molecular Biology skill set requirements * Responsibilities will include recombinant protein expression from E. coli * Recombinant protein expression from mammalian cells (HEK and CHO) * Protein purification using standard affinity columns, gravity flow, and FPLC-based purification * Maintenance of mammalian cell lines in support of variety of projects across various teams * Conduct routine molecular biology techniques including genetic engineering techniques, PCR, competent cell preparation, bacterial cell transformations, mammalian cell transfections, etc. * Advanced level of molecular biology subcloning techniques including but not limited to PCR, restriction digest, ligation, transformation, miniprepping, preparation of samples for sequencing, and analysis of sequencing data from. General Project Execution * Ability to multi-task and execute on multiple (2-4) projects in parallel * Develop clear understanding of project objectives with manger and participate in the design of experiments * Analyze primary experimental data, summarize and review with manager during regular project discussions Other * Active participation in staff/team meetings * Ability to work productively with colleagues in other groups or collaborating institutions Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's; candidates with Ph.D. degrees will also be considered * At least 5 years of academic or industrial lab experience (inclusive of graduate research experience) * Experience with mammalian cell culture, recombinant protein expression, mammalian cell expression, E. coli expression, protein purification, and molecular biology is required * Experience with high density E coli fermentation, large scale mammalian wave bag expressions, and protein mass spectrometry is preferred but not required. * Experience specifically with antibody drug conjugates, bispecific antibodies, antibody expression, protein chemistry, and fusion proteins is preferred.
