We are currently seeking a Research Associate/Associate Scientist to join our experienced drug discovery team in San Diego. This is a hands-on position within our DMPK group with responsibility to perform various in vitro and in vivo ADME studies to support small molecule drug discovery projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in aspects of LC-MS/MS based ADME assays. A strong team player who enjoys scientific discovery and has the ability to communicate and collaborate in an interdisciplinary and fast-paced environment is essential. Responsibilities: ��� Perform a variety of in vitro ADME experiments such as liver microsomal incubation, solubility, plasma/blood stability, metabolic stability, CYP inhibition, etc. ��� Interact and communicate professionally with supervisors, peers, and team members. ��� Maintain proper documentation, such as laboratory notebooks and electronic report files. Requirements ��� BS in Chemistry or Biology. ��� Hands-on experience on LC-MS/MS and automated liquid handlers. ��� Knowledge of the principles of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics is a plus.
