Details: Strategic Account Manager Harlan Laboratories, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) Create sr mgmt level relationships at lrg pharmaceutical/CRO accts that establish partnerships & preferred supplier status. Req'ts: Bachelor's or equiv in Biology or rel. Life Sciences field & three (3) yrs sales or lab or bench level pre-clinical research exp in life sciences mktplace working w/ lrg scientific R & D teams in pharmaceutical, biotech & Contract Research Organizations (CRO) accts. Exp must incl estab. sales relationships w/ pharmaceutical/CRO accts; utilizing Client Relationship Mgmt (CRM) tool or Salesforce.com as well as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Outlook; interacting w/ sr-level mgmt at pharmaceutical acct; increasing sales volume; dvlpg, writing & executing bus. plans; administering data in customer & sales info sys's such as Oracle, Siebel, JDE, E1 & Cognos EDW; & creating presentation materials & proposals to support bus. dvlpmt w/ new & existing clients. Telecommute &/or work from home permissible.
